Rising from the ashes of SoulStripper, Lucid Nightmare is a
black/thrash metal band from County Armagh in Northern Ireland. The band is
made up of Darren Mallon (vocals), Benny Finn (bass), Paul McConnell (lead
guitar), Barry Smyth (Lead guitar) and Moore (drums).
Inspired by the likes of Havok, Skeletonwitch and Iron
Maiden, Lucid brings their own dynamic to today's black/thrash metal sound with a line-up of original, head banging tunes. The band take their influence from a massive range of genres and each
member brings their individuals ideas and skills to the songwriting process.
The band started gigging in mid 2012 and have spent the past
year honing their skills with an enjoyable run of gigs supporting some great
local bands across the country, as well as playing at metal festivals like Monsters of Rot III and Infestation of Ireland.
